Happy Holidays and beyond….

December 18th, 2009 @ 5:03 pm

Hey everyone, just wanted to wish you a huge HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!  I can’t wait for Christmas!  I’ve been posting and tweeting about Charlie Brown’s Christmas for the past few weeks and I seriously cannot get enough of it.  My wife keeps filling the candy jar with Hershey Kisses and peanut butter cups so I’m packin’ on the added warmth for the winter.  The tree is up and snow is on the ground and LIFE IS GOOD!

I’ve been on the road soooo much over the past few months and I have a much needed rest coming up through the rest of December and into January.  I’ve had an amazing time performing at your colleges, universities, high schools and middle schools.  I’ve met so many amazing people and got to hear so many awesome stories that I feel my life is so much better off from it.  Over the past few months I’ve been to Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, North Carolina and who can forget NEW YORK Baby!!!  You’ve all treated me so kind so thank you for your hospitality.

Well I’ve got some cool things ahead in the new year including a live broadcast of a performance I’ll be doing in my home town on January 7th for PBS.  Show starts at 8pm so make sure you tune in if you’re in the Southern Tier.  I will also be performing once again for First Night in downtown Binghamton on New Years Eve at Christ Episcopal Church right across from Lost Dog Cafe. I have a performance at 9 and then another at 10 so I’ll see you there!

Many people have been asking how things with the Blue Project are going and I can’t explain how amazing things have been.  This program is growing and growing and thousands of teenagers and young people are getting reached with powerful messages of hope and perseverance.  I’ve literally performed for over fifteen thousand students this fall through the program and the new year is bringing in more and more schools so I’m so thankful for that.  You should hear the amazing stories from students of how they’re giving up attempts at suicide, finding their self worth, ending their habits of bullying and finding a better outlook on life…it’s amazing!!! If you want more info on the program please email info@jcblueproject.com.

And last but not least….WE GOT A NEW PUPPY!!!  Many of you know our first dog Tucker and his trusted side kick Vox the cat…so now Tucker has a girlfriend…Ladies and Gentlemen please say hello to the beautiful Bayla!!!  She’s a pooper and a biter but we love her…Tucker does too…Vox, not so much but he’s getting there.

She's a biter and chewer for sure!

She's a biter and chewer for sure!

They're in love!

They're in love!

So I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year and Happy Holidays!  Make sure you follow me on Twitter and be a fan on facebook by going to www.facebook.com/jaredcampbellfans.  Stay well and be happy!

Jared thank you so much for singing the song beyond the gray!! The first time i heard you sing the song was at my school Tioga Central. You helped me relize that it is sometimes good to talk about your problems and that god does help us stay out of danger and bad situations. When i was five years old my grandmother died soon after my dad changed my parents began to fight a lot and he was soon always angry. It was killing me to here my parents fight all the time so i said something to my dad. But every time i say something it only makes things worse. Then my family found out one night that my dad was cheating on my mom and i broke down into tears i never ever cry and i just couldnt hold the tears in. I have a little brother who i dont want growing up anymore with the fighting because i am afraid he will become like my dad and i. We are a chrisrian family so it makes thimng worse because we can not show people what christians do because we are like normal people without christ even though me and my mom try to be more like jesus but it is hard sometimes. Again thank you for singing you are an inspiration that someday i can become a singer too!!!!
